I loved Gary Roberts when he played for us and it broke my heart to see him in the Panthers shirt. Well, he's back.
My husband 's not too excited, says he's old and injury ridden - but he is a huge morale booster as well as a right on hockey player, and tough as nails (except, when he gets injured). We give away a 3rd or 4th round draft pick for him.
Domi's final year on his contract is expected to be bought out today. woohoo.
And on the Mccabe front - he broke down in front of the media yesterday because he was upset at the treatment of his wife. turns out, she was having surgery (she hasn't come back from childbirth well, has used a walker) on the day he was supposed to sign, and they both decided to put her surgery first, his signing later. Guess I did jump to conclusions re her influence, then. deepest apologies.
So pronger as a Leaf looks like it's dead in the water, and now other possible acquisitions being bandied about are Elias and jay Mckee. Woohoo again.
