| Re: Cujo is on board And Niklas Hagman - I missed this one because I had to go out to fireworks to celebrate Canada Day. Hagman's a LW who come from Dallas, with a career high 27 goals last season. 4 year contract. Can't get the $$ details just yet. Of course, Fletcher is being criticized for these moves. Finger has played one year in the NHL and was a healthy scratch for 5 of Colorado's ten playoff games last post season. His 3.75 mill a year is a 733% increase in salary for the boy. Wilson likes him.

| Re: Cujo is on board from an interview with hagman in the star today: Even as he was having the best year of his NHL career, Niklas Hagman found himself up and down in the Dallas Stars lineup. So when the Maple Leafs promised him a major role in their rebuilding process – along with $12 million (all figures U.S.) over four years – that's convinced him he should play hockey at the Air Canada Centre. "The main thing they said is I'll get chance to play a lot," Hagman said today in a conference call from Finland. "I'll play the penalty kill, play the power play, whatever it demands. "The biggest thing for me is the team believes in me. Last year in Dallas, sometimes I played on first line, sometimes I played on the fourth. "I don't mind who I play with. It's just the chance to play that's important." He's keen. he's hyped. I'm unsure. In a poll in the city yesterday, the Hagman deal was the hottest according to fans. Of course just slightly less was the None of the Above choice. |
