seems St.Louis budded in line and took former Dallas GM Doug Armstrong, who the leafs had asked to talk to, so now Fletcher sits alone.
Someone take pity on the leafs please.
Detroit, San Jose and Fla have all denied Toronto permission to talk to hockey execs, not even including Burke from Anaheim.
Leafs are interested very much in guys like Lamoriello and Risebrough but apparently they aren't interested.
The team no one wanted to take charge of - even Fletcher wants out.

Brian Burke's wife Jennifer has quit her job in vancouver. in previous discussions, it was believed that her job on the west coast was the main impediment to him moving east to GM the Leafs (well that and he's still on contract with the Ducks).
So now that she just quit her job - tongues are wagging.
