the "dream team"

I don't think so but this is what the Toronto Star proposes:
Colin Campbell as president of the Leafs;
Dave Nonis - formerly of the Canucks admin - as GM; and,
Craig Hartsburg - once the coach of the Blackhawks and the Ducks -as coach.
Hm - a fired GM from an under achieving Canucks team and a coach that has been around and around again. Now hartsburg did coach the Canadian juniors to two golds recently, which is something, but he's been coaching the Soo greyhounds of late.
This is no dream team.
Chances are we will end up with Nonis. Not excited by this.
In other Leafs news, Blake has said he would a trade out of Toronto - I love the phrasing of this - like we would beg you to stay, jase? Lots of shots on net but few goals to show for it, and a no show in the post season.
Hmm.

Re: the "dream team"

Yeah I agree. Maybe Damien Cox's dream team but I don't know about the rest of the city. Good to hear that Blake's doing well too. Do ya think they should trade him and his salary? It'd open up quite a bit of room to be creative.

YES.
I mean, he's such a great guy, upstanding and decent but he did not produce. We need to let him go and suck up the cost of letting him go.
I'm pretty sure they will.
