habs are battling it out with Pittsburgh for number one spot in the eastern conference.
last year, leafs defeated the habs which meant the habs bowed out of the playoff race.
what a difference a year/season makes.
now leafs might possibly spoil the habs number one race. they play in Montreal tonight.
pittsburgh plays Philly sunday in a very high geared game.
and rangers vs. devils will be a good game as they race for 4th on sunday as well.
what team doesn't belong in this mix?

The team is Carolina. Too many blown chances. I say Washington defeats Florida easily this evening thereby settling this clusterfudge. I also predict Boston to win against Buffalo and Pittsburgh to defeat Philly setting up an Ottawa-Montreal first round. Who would've thought. Might not happen but I'm sure the pro-line odds favour this scenario. Any thoughts?

Okay i agree - carolina deserves to lose after the horrible show last night. And washington has been on a hot streak lately, winning 9 in their last ten.

I see Boston definitely beating Buffalo, but Philly's going to come back mad vs pittsburgh.
does that mean Ottawa could still meet Montreal if Philly wins?

You guys looked good and Kovalev wears the 'C' very happily.
Like I said in the Habs post - I want Montreal to finish first but man it's hard not to cheer on the Leafs.
3-1 final. leafs were done before the game (there some good moments, though).
