Re: vs. Buffalo tonight that seems to be our mission this time around - except Buffalo making the playoffs is a pretty far fetched idea. And Sundin will not suit up tonight or for the rest of the season. headlines in the paper say: is that it for Sundin? If he retires, yeah. We may have already seen him play his last game for the blue and white.

Re: vs. Buffalo tonight I must add -Raycroft played a great game. Of course when it goes to a shootout - and last night's game did - he is not so great - the goalposts are his friends. 4-3 final and raycroft faced 41 shots. This dude hasn't played in 30 games - they showed Toskala on the bench and it seemed kind of surreal. I also question maurice's choices for the shootout roster. Okay, yeah, kaberle sure, even Kubina, but Pohl? he's been out for half the year. Williams? Huh? Why not get Stajan out there or Ponikarovsky?

Re: vs. Buffalo tonight camera don't show it though - it's hidden and then past the line and you can't tell if it crossed it before the net came off or after. very controversial. the colour commentator was saying, it is impossible to tell by the video replay and in that case, you go with the ref's decision. the ref who called it a goal didn't have a clean angle, and you can tell. he assumed it went over before th net came off - as raycroft was being shoveled around it shouldn't have been a goal. no one talks about the goalie interference either. thing is, we were talking before about bad calls and refs who don't know what they're doing and refs who favour a team - it happens to all of us at one point. that's your gift last night.
