so Buffalo, Washington and Florida won last night - not so good - we are again alone at 12th.
Article in the paper suggests a Bruins' slide will be our saviour.
I'm going to a kids birthday tonight (yeah, i thought so too - are you kidding?-life goes on while hockey is played) so will miss the game on tv definitely, hope to catch most of it on the radio coming home.
will sundin be on the ice or does he need more time?

You know? we had to come into the sunshine of reality eventually.
it's over. It was a good effort by the leafs last night - Really good game for Miller - what i heard and watched (saw the third) - and we lost Antropov to a knee thing. But we just didn't have it and we are not Cup material for sure.
it was just fun watching the boys play really well. I am sure we will have a few more great games, too - but I think the race for 8th place for the leafs is done.
we join the Islanders, the Thrashers and TB in accepting our fate.
