8-2 for Leafs over Bruins

Gee that felt good.
Okay the Bruins were on this great run, but the last 3 games especially have seen then split open and ooze all over the place. Stop the bleeding!
And just to put the Sundin thing to rest, I was mad about the penalties he took last game but this stat:
Sundin has six goals and seven assists in his last seven games -
You gotta love him. The lafs looked great last night.
Bruins were mess. Thomas was livid - he should have been stopping some of those pucks (true one was a fluky goal by McCabe). i think he was just too angry to stay in net. Sitting on the bench, he looked like steam was coming out his ears.
There was a back and forth tussling of goalies, a leaf knocked into Thomas, a bruin knocked into toskala.
Antropov scored two (he had a great game), McCabe had a 4 point game - it was 1-1 in the first but the second period was choas. Thomas was pulled when it was 5-1, and Auld let in 3 more on 17 shots.
29 shots on Toskala, 40 on the pair of Bruin goalies.

Re: 8-2 for Leafs over Bruins

I think a part of it was Boston's implosion, but Leafs have been so much better lately - we have the Devils on Sat and they play a much different much more efficient game. Like the commentator said last night about the devils in general, jersey can be such a frustrating team to play because they get ahead and then they just shut you down.
The best stat of all that i forgot to mention about our game last night was, we got 4 power play goals - 4!!!
