It's Washington again! Not bad score, 2-1 final, but the misery is in the injuries.
Pony has a separated shoulder after last night's dirty hit by Emminger- he's gone for 6-8 weeks. Now Steen left last night and Maurice has told us he will miss the first game back after the all star game, and he's ay to day. Also, Darryl Boyce, a call up, was injured and it looked very similar to pony's.
Olie the Goalie had a break last night, it was brent Johnson.
Now quiet weekend for all star break. Cause you know most of he Leafs are going nowhere.
There was a time our coach was coaching the eastern division team and we had 3 guys there. That was a long time ago.

Why has Maurice kept his job?

I don't know.
If I was in charge, i would have fired both of them.
But for some reason, they are hanging onto maurice and putting the blame solely on ferguson's shoulders.
