Plus McCabe broke his wrist in three places and is gone for 2 months. It was a hit into the boards by Andrei Kostitsyn and Maurice is mad and shouting about it as a bad hit.
I must say, he hasn't been my most favourite player this season, or last, but all in all - not a great night.
Gill and kaberle helped the Habs with their big misplaced feet.
At least we stopped Whiz Kid Price from getting a shutout - isn't that horrible that i needed that?

Tough break figuratively and literally...how much is it costing the Leaf to sit him out? Didn't he sign a big deal?

In terms of money I'm not sure though he is the highest paid player on a Canadian team. but he's averaged 26:33 in ice time over the last 32 games. So it's looked at as a huge blow. me, i think we'll make up for it. then maybe they'll think - the powers that be - hey we should drop this money sucking defenceman.

he's undergone surgery. no news, just the same 6-8 weeks off.
