Lightning tonight

I always like it when the Lightning come to town. They are an exciting team.
First time here this season - last season Maple leafs swept them.
The Leafs have won five straight over Tampa Bay, and 26 of the last 34 meetings.

Tampa Bay has lost four straight road games, and is a NHL-worst 2-10-1 on the road.
On Saturday, Sundin blew his home game point run so no record broken- he has a six-game points streak against the Lightning (two goals, six assists).
And Mister 3 goaler Nik Antropov was hot - wonder if he'll keep it up tonight.

Re: Lightning tonight

wow we blew them out of the water.
6-1.
TB continues to majorly rot on the road.
Sundin, Blake (he's getting hot), Kilger X 2, Antropov, Stajan.
The start was all over on both sides, and it wasn't the most exciting game. Holmqvist was pulled when it reached 4-0 in the second an Denis took over.
Blake's scoring now, so maybe he's found his groove. Antropov's was lovely.
Our power play took off after appearing invisible and powerless vs. the Bruins last game.
Vincent who? St.Louis? Schmooey.
Brad Richards ran into the boards with kaberle, an awkward hit and he left nursing his right leg. he's ever only missed two games in his career, and that was because of a death on the family, so this is something new for him. My guess from the way he looked is, it's serious.

Re: Lightning tonight

Then again, I just looked on the Lightning site and they say Richards should be good for the next game vs. the habs.

Re: Lightning tonight

They certainly were flying. It's at the point now where I'm starting to wonder how much longer it will last. They're really good...then they're really bad, and on and on till they miss the playoff by a point...again. Who know's though, maybe Toskala will be the difference this year.

Maybe?

Re: Lightning tonight

As good as Sundin is, as exciting as it is to see antropov playing so well - I think it's Toskala that i'm most hyped about - he's doing #1 goalie well.
