| The lying begins.
Yesterday, they said kyle wellwood was just fine, that his groin injury had not been re-ignited - after missing 33 games last year and never was the same even when he came back - but merely that he needed a little time off from practice. Today they announced he had groin surgery yesterday and will be out for at least a month.
Of course, i knew it meant something was up when he was sidelined yesterday - the lying, the fake smiles, the cover stories - I never buy them anymore.
wellwood was touted to be the anchor of our big second line. so much for that wish.
On the bright side, kilger's play is looking up - especially when he's partnered with tucker. leafs won in SO OT vs. boston 4-3 final score.
