which screws up our draft. apparently after the first 12, choices are slim pickins.
leafs can't do anything right this year. we should have lost. still, it's against my nature to root for them to lose.
watching Quinn walk out, shake Carlton the bear's paw, disappear- there goes an era. he's done for.
proposed new leafs in paper - let's call it a dream team - for next year includes gerber, Elias, Vyborny (comments, GDK?), jay McKee, Bouillon from the Habs (love that name), Zidlicky from Preds and Wallin from carolina.
Still hang onto Sundin, wellwood, o'Neill, tucker, kaberle, stajan, steen, Ponikarovksy, belak, antropov, kilger, ondrus, kronwall, white, and aubin. bring up pohl. buyout Domi and belfour.
I'm game for that.

Vyborny played well all year...he ended on a high note with 8 points in the last 3 games, including a goal and 2 assists verses the Stars...about the size of Tucker, but way more passive...good on power plays...great vision...passes well...top notch winger...and hey, if not a Blue Jacket, might as well be a Leaf right?
