Leafs 5 Philly 2

This is me doing my happy dance......
Cool. It's tricky right now - five points separate us from 10 and 8th and Montreal (who did lose last night) is playing hard and winning lots. Plus it seems to be Tampa Bay versus Atlanta constantly so there's no catching up. Who knows how this will all end? Looks definitely like we'll end up a solid 9th. Which is like too many fourths in the Olympics, sort of.
But the games lately have been something else.
Sundin won 14 of 19 faceoffs in the first two periods. he also overtook the Leaf leader board with 65 points. O'Neill has shown why he made it in the NHL, finally. 2 goals. He was the star. Steen, Stajan, white had great game. Aubin (I'm repeating myself) was amazing too, except for slip-up behind net that ended up with first Philly goal.
We scored on 5 power plays, last one when Kilger got an empty net (the crowd was filled with very quiet, disappointed fans). Philly took the bad penalties this time.
It's like they're having fun. Forsberg and Nedved weren't playing, which helps. Feeeeeeeeeels good. If this is how we go out, I love it. except we're not dead yet.

Now, now...did you really do a happy dance or are you just saying that for the sake of a good story?...And pray tell what does this dance consist of ? You wanna teach us the steps to the happy dance, in case one of our victories actually requires one?...Usually, I go with more of a fist pumping, "Yeeeaaah!"

Glad to see your team doing well -proceed with the dancing.

I did a happy dance. because my husband said something about, hey you can go on Goteamsgo and say 'So there' to whoever might be a philly fan and i, thinking that might be ungracious, said 'I'll just do my happy dance'. And i did my happy dance (arms in the air, hips swivel, face big smile).
