I wouldn't cry.
It's all rumour, but speculation is that ferguson wants more wiggle room and Kubina, mcCabe and raycroft take up too much space. Kubina and McCabe take up 10.75 mill this year alone, plus raycroft's 2 mill makes for a lot of dosh.
I wouldn't mind getting rid of McCabe too. I know we pay too much for the defenceman, but I like Kubina, i think he shows sparks of genius. My neighbour thinks I'm insane.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have locked up goalie Vesa Toskala until 2010.
The Finnish netminder agreed to terms on a two-year extension that will kick in after next season. The 30-year-old will earn $1.375 million (all figures U.S.) in the final year of the deal he signed with San Jose, then will get a pay hike to $4 million a year for the two seasons that follow.

It wouldnt be a bad idea, Raycroft could be used to bring in some more talented defensemen which we definitly need, I feel our offense is in good standing right now, we need to work on our D and with Toskala between the pipes, our goalie is taken care of, now we need to focus on the blue line. The kings are desperate for a goaltender, and they have a number of talented defensmen on their squad, i wouldnt be surprised to see a Raycroft trade to LA.

I think our defence is in pretty good shape, really. now we got Toskala, I'm happy with them.
I want more goals.
