seems Islanders' Sean Hill was caught using the steroids or performance enchancing drugs, whatever, months before he was actually suspended. It's some sort of procedure they have to follow where he gets re-tested and while he is getting re-tested, he can continue to play.
What i like is, GM John ferguson coming out this wee, saying That's crap and Hill should have been pulled immediately and maybe things would have gone a different way for the Islanders- maybe the Leafs would have gotten into the playoffs instead. Hill was a pretty important cog in that NYI machine.
Big maybe, and it's all just playful talk now, but i also think, once drugs were found in Mister hill's system that it should have been news for the media and he should have been pulled from professional play.
Sucks to be caught.
