| Re: higher ticket prices, fewer games available It's just a more expensive cable package is all, pundit. Up into the 500 channels. It's too dear for me - but more to the point - tv sucks whether you have 5 or 500 channels - I'd get it only for LeafsTV. Worth it? I feel like I've been manipulated, or worse. Gotham - good point - our medicine AND our hockey needs to be available to ALL- regardless of rich or poor. No, Sundin will have to be in my head while i listen - or I put a picture of them all around the room, turn where I need to go when the play is around that player. I need to make room for Gill. I'll punch a bunch of holes in raycroft, too - just to make it real. |

And yeah, a bit too realistic with the whole "hole in Raycraft bit"...but you got to make due... |

| Re: higher ticket prices, fewer games available quoted from the Star: The price for mediocrity has risen for subscribers, up $10.48 per ticket to a high of $182 for those in platinum and gold seats, while those in the lowest-priced section, purple, will now pay $37 instead of $34.70. Platinum and Gold (sides): $182 for next season; $171.52 this past year Platinum and gold (ends): $171 for next season; $160.62 this past season Reds: $132 - $123.93 Blue/green: $72 - $67.42 Purple: $37 - 34.70 But the thing is, here tickets go faster than free beers. So maybe $37 sounds manageable, you you have to work hard just to get a crummy game. And then you have crummy seats. |
