Devils go down to the leafs

A third period finale with a lot of nail biting and yelling at the tv for unnecessary penalties-
excuse my sounding like a broken record.
Leafs almost blew it. I couldn't sit - I went and brushed my teeth during the second five-on-three in the dying minutes of the last period because, yes, i had faith they were going to BLOW IT. they didn't. they won. jean Sebastien Aubin in goal, too - first Leafs game for him. there's some shake-up.
The young guys ruled. Allison's out with a hand injury (wonder, was it injured during the stupid melee in Montreal, or did he actually hurt it playing hockey? also some scuttlebutt, did they keep him out because he's getting too expensive and may reach those numbers in his contract and expect payback? they say no). So the stars were Wellwood, Stajan, Tucker, and the mighty KILGER. In my books, anyway. Sundin was on hand and Aubin did a great job. looked very confident.
It was game where i started to work out my own list of who should stay and who should go. So stay tuned...

Hey now, I think you have stumbled onto a new ritual..."brush teeth during the third period and team hangs on for win"...repeat after every game ...I can see it now...you are at and actual game and with 5 minutes to go in the final period you start racing towards the restroom so you do not jinx the team by not getting that brushing in...

Re: Devils go down to the leafs

I hate to say, I've done it before, and the results aren't always successful.
I have problems when it's close - I love it and I can't watch. Especially when I'm angry at them.

The rate of success goes up if you brush up and down...and it goes down if you brush side to side...you have to take those things into account...
