It was a stinker. I could go over the multitude of mistakes but right now it's just a gut feeling of doom. 6 points behind 8th place Atlanta (who seems to have sold its collective soul for wins).
Team not there. It's funny, how vs. the Canes they were on and you could feel the desire to win - and then it's a crunch game with Montreal, and the desire leaked somewhere between Tuesday and last night and all it was was flat-out bad play.
Even telqvist.
Bad penalties again, which sap their strength. The bad news is they lost. The really bad news is this gets to happen all over again on Saturday, in Montreal too. The most bad news...it feels like it's over.

Your heart is in the right place even though your colours are screwed up.
This is the first time in a long time that Toronto doesn't get in and possibly all other Canadian teams do get in.
Dicey for some still, but getting less dicey and more flat line for us.
