So our shootout still sucks, sundin being the only one who seems to be able to regularly figure them out. habs looked like the better team throughout the whole game, and Halak was awesome.
we squandered a point, gave a point away, we should have won, what can i say. Too many penalties against a team whose powerplay is #1. yet we didn't let them score once on the PP. not bad. We didn't give up a SHed goal either. woohoo.
Kubina had a pretty goal. Wellwood scored too. Lots of scrapping, emotions ran high.
We played better than we did in washington. but we needed that extra point.
Carolina in 7 with 80 points and 9 games to go, Rangers in 8th with 79 and 10 games left, islanders in 9th with 78 and 11 games, us in 10th with 78 and 10, and Montreal in 11th with 78 and 9 games left.
