The good guy wins, sometimes, but not without paying for it.
It may screw up my fantasy league points since I have brodeur but who cares! We caught up in the 3rd with a great goal by Colaiacovo and then a couple of bobbles over brodeur's shoulder. 3-2, then they scored. Goes to SO.
Then we shot a few past the great goalie - Steen, O'Neill, Perreault (in his first game back with us) all got one, with perreault's being the winner.
What sucked? In the second period, kaberle took a mean late hit from some dude on the Devils named janssen and he was out for a minute at least. they carried him off on a stretcher, but by then he was sitting up and talking.
Janssen left his feet and shoved an elbow right into kaberle well after kaberle had given the puck up the ice, and THERE WAS NO CALL.
Tell me, when do the Leafs get a break?

good to see the NHL took note of the DIRTY hit by Janssen. I hear he's been suspended. It's stuff like that the game doesn't need. But it would have been nice if someone from Toronto would have stepped up and went back after Janssen and show him and everyone else that you can't take shots like that at them!

Yeah he got 3 games and that's the equivalent of $7220.16 US.
I think it was good they backed off on getting back at him - we would have suffered for retaliating. the best thing was, they beat them.
The Devils did decide not to play Janssen after that. they kept him on the bench in the third.
I liked that. that's respectful.
Kaberle has neck spasms and a concussion, and they haven't said how long, but speculation is, he'll be back in a week, if all goes well.

Good win, Blue but they couldn't capitalize last night over Buffalo.

yeah last night was a big downer after beating the devils. I hear by letting them beat us Buffalo now occupies 1st place.
