You're right, Blue. You have to take 2 pts from the Flyers. Got to just muddle through the injuries. Look at the Islanders. They lost their most consistent defenseman, Martinek (+24) and the $90 million dollar man, Yashin, and keep winning. It's also allowed guys like Jeff Tambellini and Franz Nielsen to come up from the minors and contribute.

Re: Tonight vs. Flyers 5-2, Leafs win over Philly. Leafs were on their heels every now and then, but overall, i felt bad for a beleagured Philly. Announcer bob Cole kept saying, Philadelphia is in the very last spot, and Philly has no way of getting into the post season enough that i started thinking, Gee i feel so bad for them, maybe we should let them win... But we didn't. Gagne and kapanen got the Philly goals, the only two who seem to give a damn. Goalie Leighton tried hard, but the team's not there. Steen, O'Neill (the Steen-O'Neill-Stajan line is hot), Sundin, Kilger and Pohl scored for the Leafs. We're in tenth. Montreal tomorrow, Buffalo on Tuesday. MUST WIN.

Blue: This is professional sports. There's no feeling bad....Here's the trick about beating the Canadiens. Stay out of the box. They're 2 different teams: They're great on power play and shorthanded sits but on 5 on 5, they're soft.

Re: Tonight vs. Flyers Thanks for the skinny. Quite often, our problem is staying out of the box. Maybe it's cause I'm a chick or something, but no matter who it is - except for the Senators - I always feel bad for the opponent when they lose, even just a little. I want the leafs to win all the time, yet - I feel bad for the losers. it's the compassion in my soul. Oh and congrats on the win last night and the slide into 8th.
