Goalie leighton let in goals by O'Neill, Pony and Colaiacovo then was pulled before the first period horn went and the rest of the game was played vs. Niittymaki. he did okay.
But Philly had no air left in the balloon, no gas left in the tank, no oreos left in the package...
Sundin got the fourth - a most beautiful and accurate goal.
Knuble and Gagne were the goal-getters for Philly - I will always like Gagne, and I just like saying knuble.
Yeah, they probably were upset seeing Forsberg go to one of the best teams in the league but honestly, i would have been mad at the leafs brass if they had picked him up. He's injury prone and past it. Spurts - we can't afford to pay for spurts.
Good game by the leafs and good game by Raycroft - both goals against him were PP, and stupid penalties at that.
