Oilers, Flames want Tucker

well, it's rumoured. the Toronto Star says, and I like this way of saying it;
"The Oilers and Flames are reportedly kicking at the tires on injured forward's availability."

Apparently, the crutch and the cast and the fact that he hasn't played since Boxing Day don't seem to matter.

There would be turmoil, outcries, aghast-ness here. Let's see - if Sundin is the heart, Tucker is the soul of the Leafs. But we are losing too much.
Tucker doesn't want to go. he's an unrestricted free agent on July 1 - but at the same time, the Leafs also have an option year in 07/08 on Sundin as well as Peca being in the same situation as Tucker.
Will we have enough $$$ to keep all of them? cap rises from 44 to 46 mill next year. So, Yes, says John ferguson.
Trade deadline is feb 27.
As for the schedule, they start a five game road trip - in carolina first, then new York Rangers, Ottawa, St. Louis and Nashville.
then back in TO on Feb 10 vs. Pittsburgh.
We have to beat Pittsburgh (7th), the Lightning (8th), Rangers (9th).

Well maybe an NHL team has sold their sold...even Boston sent Bobby Orr to an ungraceful retirement in Chicago...

And what exactly is Boxing Day?

Well we don't have a Boxing Day...I feel ripped off...

And yes, they look awful for that...Orr's knees were done for...and Boston didn't want to pay, so he ended up Chicago.
