Leaf's winning streak starts in Florida

2 down, one to go before the all-star break.
bring on the Penguins.
First tampa bay folds to the mighty power of the blue and white, and now the Panthers.
Auld was pulled after a dismal few periods, few shots and many goals.
So they bring out Belfour, and in the third, florida was much sharper, as was belfour.
Final score: 3-2 because while the Panthers turned it up a bit, the leafs fell back and struggled.
A couple of called-off goals, one for each team, and it's ugly, but it's a win.
Kilger was the star, raycroft not too shabby either.
Just one thought- hello? sundin? Where's the points? plus it has been discovered that he's not playing his usual ice time, but much less. Is he being punished by Coach maurice or is he hurt and they don't want us to know (which seems unlikely)?
tucker will probably not be back till after the break. he's frustrated, they say. I bet he is. We miss you, Darcy.

Huh?...Got to re-think their merit now...this throws my whole theory off you know...I was sure the cheerleaders were going to give them that extra edge they needed...perhaps a new chant would help?

Re: Leaf's winning streak starts in Florida

yeah, a catchy tune - or they could play better.
honestly, we almost lost it so even though i thought Fla. looked real bad in the first 2 periods, we looked pretty bad in the 3rd.
best thing? not a lot of stupid penalties.
