Leafs ALMOST Win

so not a win, but it was a good game. Not one sided, first and second periods, even many moments of the third were really good hockey. official score, Sens win 4-2, but the last goal was an empty netter with 15 seconds to go and a Sen in the box - puck got past mcCabe.
So 3-2 rally, and competitive hockey. I'm chalking this one down as an almost win.
Belfour shone. Ponikarovsky is on. Wellwood is some fast dude.
Next Sens vs leafs game, i will be there in peson, so it bodes well for a win.
Still. Leafs need a win next or it's not happening. Montreal won (man, they are on some kind of streak - Theodore should have slipped on his front step two months ago)

I guess if you squint real hard..maybe...but didn't Lindros go down with some sort of wrist injury or something?...like I said...if you squint really, really hard...maybe

Re: I see it as a leafs ALMOST win

Lindros has been out since the end of October with a ripped tendon or something like that - he chose not to have surgery done which would have put him out of the action for the whole season. He's been gone almost that anyway, came back last game finally, went out last night again with a huge grimace on his face - looked bad from where we sat. he'll probably end up under the knife now. Sucks. I do agree with bad mojo factor. But just to give the sens a run for their money was invigorating (lots of screaming at tv, like on first goal scored WOOOHOOO). the other six games this year, we basically lay down and let them steamroll us. Then we said thank you.
