This is disturbing. At the all star game in Dallas next month, the Leafs will unveil a new logo - it will look essentially the same, they say, except for a different silhouette of the Leaf.
Maybe I'm an old fashioned girl. I love the old logos. i don't want some new superpowered racing logo (they call it a "modernization" - I hate that - like it's progress and you just can't stop progress) like what the sabres have now. Doesn't it say something that we want to see them in their vintage sweaters?
Listen to us and don't change it.

Speaking of fighting back, Davie Keon refuses to go in the ACC (and he always has, so i would assume he didn't step into Maple leaf gardens either, in retirement), until the Leafs change their policy re retiring numbers (they don't).
I'm okay with that policy. And the Leafs have no intention of making Mr. keon happy.

The almighty dollar speaks again. Tweak the logo, and think of all the money that will come in because of the fans' need to buy the "new" gear. I'm surprised they're not making sure it's out before Christmas - "Buy the NEW official Leafs merchandise with the BRAND NEW LOGO on it! It'll make a great gift for the hockey fan in your life!" Gotta love money grubbing owners.

Come on now...its a business like anything else...but yeah, totally bad marketing not to have it out for the Christmas Holiday...now the old logo becomes a "Reto Logo"...and you got to buy the "Throw Back Retro" Jeresey for a few bucks more...what's not to like?...Next year the team will add "aqua pin strips"...

Yep its all about the cash and every canadians must have the latest leafs stuff , They wouldn't be the home of hockey if they didn't

Curious BnW where you around in those days when Dave play the game ? I mean did you ever watch Dave play ?

Start the petition. 10 years ago, the Islanders changed their classic Logos to that fisherman and the fans went so nuts that they changed it back....The Leafs changing their unis would be like if the Yankees changed their logo.
