'Breakfast With Scot' is a "fictional" movie about a gay hockey player. so Cherry says something about Bettman wanting a "kindler and gentler league, but this is too much". leave it to cherry to be the first offensive one.
Moviemakers said they didn't think the NHL or the Leafs would give up their names or logos but they did, with GM ferguson saying,
"We agreed to host them and we're comfortable with that".
Some scenes will be on the ice with real Leafs.

Sittler makes me proud:
"Obviously it's the real world and I have no issues with it at all. To me, those things have come a long way and they should."
Some people spoken to have wondered if the Leafs and the NHL would have been so eager to lend their logos if the story had not been "fictional", but instead, true.

I wouldn't think they would offer their logo either but, glad they did. It shows they hold no bias and don't care what others may think. And anyway, it's not that big a deal. If anything, it will get the franchise more exposure for being in a film.

Better the Leafs then the Blue Jackets...we got our own problems to deal with...like scoring...
