leafs meet Devils tonight

No raycroft yet, but I'm okay with that. It's nice, feeling confident in our backup and not feeling pressure that razor needs to get back NOW.
Like to see kubina step up his game.
I'm torn, of course. Brodeur is my fantasy goalie but see, I'm a Leafs fan...
Who is the Jersey backup anyway?
Peca has been fitted with a new bridge with four new teeth. he says he just gets a bridge as opposed to permanent because he usually loses a few teeth a season. Wow.
Should be a good game, I say we'll smoke 'em. last Jersey game was on leafs tv so I missed it.
maybe Rafalski can get an assist to help out my fantasy team at least. Here's hoping for a high scoring game - speaking of, did anybody see the Wild-Preds game last night, ending in 7-6 shootout (wild win)? Must've been fun.

See, I am not torn, McCabe should get 5 points off Brodeur!...but look at it as a no lose situation...in the Leafs kill the Devils you will dance for joy...if Brodeur stones them, you can say "Ain't I brilliant, I picked him first overall, right before Gotham could get his greedy hands on him."

Re: leafs meet Devils tonight

It's a loss. 2-1, devils. A trap game, once the Devils scored first. I hate it when a team plays the trap, and the devils were known for it under Scott stevens. Just play open hockey cause the trap is so freakin boring. Too defensive and it turns into a snore fest.
But the shots were 34 Toronto -19 Jersey, so it wasn't too much a snore fest, and I swear about 19 of those Toronto shots were in the last minute of play, when Tellqvist was off and we had the extra man. That was sit on your edge hockey, truly.
Tellqvist played well - Raycroft is supposed to be back Monday and my favourite Aubin had the flu (he was the second goalie but he stayed in the dressing room all night, i assume, to throw up).
No power play goals and a stoopid fight between belak and the recent Devils tough guy Janssen. belak had this guy naked from the waist up, pulled the shirt et al off before the refs stood in. Announcer Cole seemed a bit too fazed by Janssen's pectorals.
And the name thing again - the Devils have a guy on their team named Johnny Oduya. i couldn't keep a straight face. Oduya skates into the leafs end, rounds the net, takes a shot on net. Ohdoyou, Johnny Oduya? Yes, he do.
