I've heard nothing about that. Of course, when they are doing badly, talk about dealing Sundin is always tossed out, especially when he seems to be laying low. He was denying it a few weeks before the Olympics. It would be really weird not having Sundin here anymore -an institution. Re Belfour, i can't imagine. I love Eddie, but he's not the man he used to be (shows spark every now and then), but I would figure we'd hang onto him until season end, then regroup. Maybe O'Neill - he was a healthy scratch for the first time in his career about three, four weeks back because he was not producing any offense.

Belfour was a great goalie, but the emphasis is on was. As you say, B&W, he just isn't the man he used to be. He's just 21-20, his GAA is up by more than a point over 2003-04, his save percentage is down and he has yet to pitch a shutout this season. I think its obvious his best days are behind him.

When Belfour is on, it's amazing. But it's not often. His numbers do tell the story. I've got this soft spot for him because of what he was and how exciting it was to get him - we hated Cujo for leaving and Belfour offered us new hope, a new chant: ED-DIE, ED-DIE. But yeah, it's all sentimental. About Sundin: He has yet to lead us to a Cup, but dumping him, I don't know if that's the answer.

hanging on Unfortunately I think Eddie Belfour is the epitome of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization. They just keep hanging on to something that isnt there. I think its time that the Leafs bite the bullet and move on. How about it?
