The Blue Jays were looking at some players. They were having good serious talks with teams like the Mariners, and Pirates. Looking at players like Raul Ibanez and Jason Bay. Howver in the end the Blue Jays ended up trading no one.

I'm a little surprised they didn't shop Burnett, but I guess they made it clear they wanted to keep him.

Ya at the beggining of the season I expected them to do a bit better than what they have shown so far. Trading Burnett may have been a good move and I think they definetly could have used the help of Raul Ibanez or especially Jason Bay.

they do the same every year. They play full out in september when everyone else knows where they'll be and they end up 4 or 5 games over .500. It's embarassing, they gotta get do something about their offence. I think Burnett would've went had he not pitched so well as of late. Also Mcgowan's hurt and they sent Jesse Litsch to Syracuse.

Ya but I think there has to be a time when they admit they have to start a rebuilding mode. Having Burnett could have boosted trade value for more prospects.
