Cool Best Blue Jay of all time

This is interesting....A lot of very good players have come through here...

Pitchers: Dave Stieb, Jimmy Key, Tom Henke, Roy Halliday...
Hitters: George Bell, Joe Carter, Paul Molitor, Dave Winfield...

I would go with George Bell. What about everybody else?

I also would go with Bell. He played there his whole career too if I'm not mistaken. Alomar should also get a mention. He played with them for about 5 years and 2 championships.

Re: Best Blue Jay of all time

Yeah, probably Bell. Could've been Delgado had he not left - he certainly was on pace to be something special for them.

Tough call...my favorite all-time Blue Jay was the scrappy Bob Bailor who hit .310 in his first year with them...but I got to go with Bell over Delgado today...tomorrow I might pick Delgado over Bell...

Good one, Gotham. I forgot about Bailor...How about Otto Velez?

Clemens was only on the team a couple of years. That's why I didn't consider him. I would pick Dave Stieb or Tom Henke as pitchers before him.

Re: Best Blue Jay of all time

I agree with Bell. He was a great player for them. But I believe he spent a year with the Cubs and two years with the White Sox at the end of his career.
