Re: Toronto Blue Jays transactions

According to this story, "Toronto outrighted right-hander Josh Towers and outfielder John-Ford Griffin to Triple-A Syracuse, removing both players from the roster. Right-hander Pete Walker and infielder Kevin Barker each declined an outright assignment, making both players free agents. Toronto then brought its roster up to 38 players by purchasing the contract of right-hander Tracy Thorpe from Double-A New Hampshire."

Hmm... wasn't Towers supposed to be pretty good? Instead, he went 1-9 with a 9.11 ERA. Do you think the time in the minors might help? And what do you think of this kid Thorpe. He any good?

the blue jays really never have any pitchers that they turn out from their farm system(like Brandon League) all I can say is I love the Blue Jays because they finished ahead of Boston this year! hahahaha

Re: Toronto Blue Jays transactions

They only finished in front of Boston by like a couple or games or so, right?

Roy Halladay stood out from the crowd this season with a splendid performance on the mound. Who knew that Troy Glaus would be a spectacular surprise after silent years in Arizona?
