Re: Blue Jays fans - worst in baseball?

Are the Blue Jays fans the worst in baseball?

The author of this article, a student at a Canadian business school, makes it sound that way.

Quote:
"It is commonly held that New York Yankee and Boston Red Sox fans are among the loudest, most obnoxious, drunkest, meanest people ever to crowd into a baseball stadium," he writes. "However, after observing these creatures within the stadium several times, they have consistently NOT been the worst people there. The real creatures you have to look out for are the native Blue Jays’ fans."

"American fans may be loud, perhaps even obnoxious on occasion, but they attend games to cheer on their team with a fervent devotion equivalent to that of a hockey dad cheering on his young son... But they have no wish to be ejected from the park after traveling such a long distance, often with their families... On the flip side, many Jays 'fans' come to these games purely to chide, insult, abuse and harass any Yankee or Red Sox fan within 100 feet of them. Many of them arrive drunk and leave drunker usually escorted by a member or five of our fine staff."
What what do you think? Sound like Blue Jays fans are the Canadian version of Philadelphia Eagles fans, doesn't it?

I don't think they are the worse , just not interested , This part of town has always been a Hockey county and most of Toronto fans I believe have moved away from Toronto , I'm born and rasied here , I have seen so many people that I know moving away from Toronto , To the outskirts of the city , Also when Toronto fans see how the market is in the East ( Yankee , Boston ) they know sooner or later the Jays can't compete , Though Ted Rogers is giving a good fight but for how long ?
