Big game from Blue Jays pitcher A.J. Burnett, who helped snapp the team's five-game losing streak with a three-hit, five strikeout performance. "Burnett was in complete control, allowing a one-out single to rookie David Murphy in the third, two singles in the seventh and nothing else," states this article. "Burnett now appears to be harnessing his strength and the results have been everything the Jays hoped for since signing him to the five-year, $55-million deal."

So is Burnett finally starting to find his groove? What do you think?

If Burnett has arm trouble, why would they send him out for the 9th inning after throwing 107 pitches? Isn't that why they signed BJ Ryan?

They just want to justify Burnett's large contract, ThePundit. They probably have to get in some extra innings for Burnett this year so that the owner doesn't get fed up wasting his money. BJ Ryan hasn't looked like the best closer at all this year.
