| Texas Tech vs. Rice Texas Tech struggled a bit against UTEP last week, which leads me to believe that Mike Leach's team is vulnerable. An upset may come, but it won't be this week, not against the Owls. QB Grant Harrell, who has already thrown for 900-plus yards and 8 TDS this season, should have another big game as the Red Raiders roll over Rice.

According to the Associated Press, "Graham Harrell threw a personal best six touchdown passes, three to freshman Michael Crabtree, and Texas Tech scored 35 unanswered points for a 59-24 victory over the Rice Owls Saturday in a battle of former Southwest Conference rivals... The Red Raiders (3-0) beat their third straight Conference USA opponent. Rice dropped to 0-3. The two teams last played in 1995 when both were in the SWC."
