Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell

Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell is one of the 35 guys on the Manning Award watchlist.

According to the Red Raiders official team site, "Harrell led the Big 12 Conference in passing last season with 4,555 yards and 38 touchdowns. His yardage total marked the fourth-best sophomore season in NCAA history, while his nine 300-yard passing games ranks fifth on the Tech career list." So does the kid have any chance of brining home the award? What kind of season should we expect out of Harrell?

Re: Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell

Harrell threw six touchdown passes last week against Rice. SIX! That's impressive right there.

Re: Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell

Harrell had an even bigger day this past Saturday, throwing for 646 yards - the fourth highest total in Division I history - and five touchdowns.

It was all for naught, though, as the Red Raiders lost to Oklahoma State, 49-45.
