Red Raiders move King, bump up Waddle
Texas Tech offensive line coach Matt Moore made a joke Sunday afternoon, saying freshman tackle LaAdrian Waddle couldn't possibly play early in his career because he wasn't rated highly enough by recruiting services.

But Moore took a step earlier in the day to give Waddle just such an opportunity. The Tech line coach moved redshirt freshman Joe King from right tackle to right guard, clearing the way for the 6-foot-6, 350-pound Waddle to take second-team snaps behind third-year starter Marlon Winn.

"He looked good today,'' Moore said. "I'll go up there and watch film and see if it's something I want to stay with.''
