They're now just a game and a half up on Seattle for second place in the AL West, and in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Giants, Michael Young, Mark Teixeira and Buck Showalter were all ejected. This team seems like its heading towards a major meltdown. How do they stop it? |

| Re: Texas Rangers falling apart By trading teixeira for a major starting pitcher. He is never going to be of more value than he is now. He is having a down year but could get you a solid pitcher or two, which is what they desparately need. detroit is loaded with pitching and is looking for a bat in the lineup. Buck going out the door soon would help too.

| Re: Texas Rangers falling apart Quite frankly, I was shocked to discover Mark Teixeira's progress this year? Batting lower than .300 is normal for him, but his 8 homeruns and 44 RBIs isn't. He just doesn't seem as dominant as he was last year, when he batted in a whooping-144 RBIs and smacked over 40 homeruns. He better "step his game up" a notch or else the Texas Rangers have even a smaller chance of winning their division. |
