Re: Hank Blalock error costs Rangers

A Hank Blalock error helped the San Diego Padres beat the Texas Rangers 3-2 yesterday at Ameriquest Field. In the 9th inning, Ben Johnson tried to steal third. Gerald Laird tried to throw him out, but Blalock missed the throw and Johnson scored what would wind up being the winning run. Tough loss for the Texas Rangers, eh?

Re: Hank Blalock error costs Rangers

It was a tough loss for the Rangers, but I am sure that others will follow. The Texas Rangers have some big stars, but don't win that many games. The same problem erupted with Alex Rodriguez while he spent his days in Texas.

I think this loss was not as bad as the Mets', though. Reyes hit for a cycle, just so that Wagner could blow the game.
