On Friday, Josh Hamilton hit a two-run homer to go over the 100 RBI mark for the first time in his career. He also helped the Rangers come back from five runs down and claim a 14-6 win over the Oakland Athletics. One has to wonder whether or not this kid is going to get some serious MVP consideration for what he's done in 2008.

Agreed, on the sympathy votes and All-Star game. I think he has helped himself so much from his rookie season in Tampa Bay. He went from being on drugs so badly, to be one of the premier players in the MLB. He did pretty well in Cinncinati, too! I say he just might get the MVP award...
