Re: Young leads Rangers over Angels

Good way to open a 10-game homestand for the Texas Rangers, that's for sure. Michael Young went 3-for-3 and put the Rangers ahead for good with an RBI single in the 7th as Texas beat the Angels, 3-2. Brad Wilkerson also homered to keep his club in first place in the AL West. Makes me wonder... can they really win this division?

Re: Young leads Rangers over Angels

The Rangers haven't come in first in their division since 1999. That was when Rafael Palmeiro went long for 47 homers and 148 RBIs. Yes I know, that was a very long time ago.

Quick Comparison:
2006:23-21 on May 23rd...
1999:23-20 on May 23rd...

It's looking good for the boys in Texas!
