Texas Rangers 2008 Schedule

The Rangers open the year on a six game road trip to Seattle and Los Angeles.
They open at home on April 8th against Baltimore.

Interleague opponents will be Houston, New York, Washington, Atlanta and Philly.

Has this team done enough to improve their pitching? Can they be competitive in 2008?

I forget. Did they even get pitching. They gave the Reds one of their best prospects for Hamilton. I don't remember them aquiring any pitchers

They added Wright and Guardado, at least. I'm sure they could still use more, but, can they make due and compete for a pennant as is?

I don't think that was enough. Guardado is washed up. The Reds even gave up on him and their pen was awful. He won't do any better in the hitter friendly park they have.
