According to the story, this was Cordero's fourth blown save in seven opportunities this season. Yet his teammates keep bailing him out. Last night's hero, Hank Blalock, told the author ""He's still one of the game's premier closers and we can't wait to give him the ball next time... That's how we do it, as a team. If one guy has a bad day, we've got 24 other guys to pick him up."

That's a great attitude to have, but it seems to be the same guy they keep having to pick up. Seriously, shouldn't Texas seriously consider making a change at closer? I'm not sure Cordero has it anymore, at least not right now. Perhaps a move to set-up or middle-relief might help him find his stuff again.
