Sammy Sosa has announced his plans to return for the 2008 season.

"If it's not here, it will be somewhere else, believe me," the Dominican slugger told the Associated Press recently. "I feel great. Definitely, I want to play another year." Sosa is hitting .247 with 17 home runs, and leads all Rangers with 74 RBI in just 100 games. Think he's still got another season left in him?

Yeah, I'd give him a shot...maybe in Tampa...can't hurt the Rays image any.

You know, he still has some big games left in him. Take yesterday for example - 2-for-5, a home run, 2 runs scored, 5 RBI. He probably won't get to 100 RBI (he's at 83) but he might get 20 HRs. That's not exactly an awful season. I'm thinking he does come back next year.
