Re: Rangers headed for last place?

Nothing like a little optimism among your beat writers, eh?

"The pitching, with the exception of Vicente Padilla, has been awful as usual," writes NTDaily.com writer Michael Neglia. "Although he’s only pitched two games, Kevin Millwood has been a bust so far, and the team already traded inconsistent Juan Dominguez and sent down R.A. Dickey to Triple-A. Oh, and Francisco Cordero already has a blown save."

The guy's predicting a 100-loss season. Think that's accurate?

Cool Re: Rangers headed for last place?

100 losses? No way. But if Milwood is a bust this team will be just awful. Who ever thought that losing NutCase Rogers would make such a difference?

Re: Rangers headed for last place?

I agree that 100 losses is out of the question for these guys, and I find it somewhat ironic that this article gets published the same day Millwood earns his first win for the Rangers. And he beat Barry Zito, no less. I hope not all Rangers fans and pundits are as quick to push the panic button as this guy!
