I'll be honest, Pudge was one of the great things about being a Rangers fan, because you knew he was there to play. It's always easy to bash an athlete on the downside of his career, so I really hope Pudge shines this year and stays injury free. His performance in spring training is an indication of good things to come from him this year.

Anyone who bashes Pudge just has an agenda. He was great with and post Rangers. He has longevity that most catchers just don't have. It's fashionable to say Pudge was past his prime simply cause the Rangers chose not to resign him, but all of these years later and Pudge is still superior to what the Rangers have put behind the plate.
