| Rangers offensive resurgence
The Texas Rangers struggled offensively for much of the early part of the season, but they seem to have gotten it turned around. The Rangers have scored 14 points in back-to-back games, including a 14-4 victory over the Twins yesterday. According to the AP, "Gerald Laird hit his first career grand slam in an eight-run fifth inning and... Texas scored 10 or more runs in consecutive games for the first time since Sept. 14-15, 2004, against Oakland." Can they keep it up? |
