Jerry Hairston named in HGH investigation

Jerry Hairston Jr. of the Texas Rangers has been connected to the ongoing human growth hormone investigation. According to the Dallas Morning News, "In a report on SI.com, it was alleged that Dr. A. Almarashi of Queens, N.Y., prescribed Genotropin (HGH) that was sent from Applied Pharmacy Services, a compound pharmacy raided in Mobile, Ala., last fall, to Hairston." He, of course, is denying the rumor. So, is Hairston guilty or not?

Re: Jerry Hairston named in HGH investigation

You get straight to the point lol.

All the players that are or will be named in this investigation are in it for a reason. There's paper work with their names/addresses and whatnot. But from the sound of it, the government won't be going after players, they want to nip the distributors and doctors who are involved in the illegal network.

But it does go to show you that players are getting around some of the testing. HGH is still untestable, btw.

Re: Jerry Hairston named in HGH investigation

Well, no sense mincing words, I figure. The records seem to show that Hairson purchased the stuff. I don't believe that possession of HGH is illegal. He denies using it, and he can't be tested for it, so it's all pretty much speculation and personal opinion from this point on.
