Looks like 40-year-old OF Kenny Lofton and the Texas Rangers are close to a deal. According to AP reports, "While a deal hasn't yet been reached, a person familiar with the negotiations said Sunday the sides are getting close. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because talks are ongoing." Would this be a good signing for Texas? I mean, Lofton had a good regular season last year, but stunk in the playoffs, and he's not exactly a spring chicken anymore. What do you think?
